As “Artists-in-Residence” at Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, we are delighted to be part of this service of Lessons and Carols. Based on the service first held in King’s College Chapel, Cambridge, during World War I, our joint service with Church of the Incarnation includes Renaissance motets, a newly commissioned motet by Douglas Biggs, and traditional carols (with descants!). Lessons and Carols is the perfect way to start your holiday festivities. Year after year, this service fills to capacity so make your plans early.
Tomás Luis de Victoria: Ne timeas Maria
Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina: Alma redemptoris
Jean Mouton: Quaeramus cum pastoribus
